Tarrywile is an absolutely beautiful wedding venue! We fell in love with the grounds before touring the mansion, but once we went inside, we knew this was the place for us. Loraine was so easy to work with and her enthusiasm about Tarrywile is contagious. The mansion is gorgeous and being able to have indoor and outdoor options for the ceremony and reception was ideal. Though we had hoped for an outdoor wedding, cold and rain forced our late April wedding indoors, where we were able to have an amazing ceremony inside the conservatory. Our guests loved how cozy the rooms felt and we had a wonderful experience there. Highly recommend! (We also love the park and trails if you are looking for a place to hike!)

There are multiple expansive hiking trails throughout the whole park with beautiful landscapes. The mansion is available for events and is host to many weddings and other events during the spring and summer months so the upper parking lot may be closed during those times.

We love Tarrywile Park. We had our reception in the Mansion almost 30 years ago. The park offers many hiking trails, a children's garden, a pavilion with picnic tables, a couple of ponds, and a Castle among other things.

I love the park. Tarrywile has lots of good things to offer. I always find myself having great time going for a hike. There's easy trails if all you're looking for is a relaxing walk around the pond or around the green fields, for those feeling a little more adventurous there is always the yellow trail that leads you to a pick which provides an amazing view of the town of Danbury. Not that long ago I had a picnic date with my girlfriend and we had such a fabulous time enjoying ourselves and reconnecting with nature and our surroundings. I definitely love everything about this park and will always recommend it to anyone who wants to get out of their...

When we decided to come up to Danbury for the weekend, we looked for dog friendly hiking trails and found Tarrywile. The scenery from the pictures looked amazing so we decided that that was where we would go. We arrived at around 8am with our two small dogs. The map was a little difficult to read so I snapped a picture on my phone just for reference. We followed the white trail and then walked through the hay field. The hike was pretty easy and it was beautiful! Loads of mosquitoes so make sure to use plenty of insect repellent and if you're bringing your furries, make sure they...
