Tarrywile is an absolutely beautiful wedding venue! We fell in love with the grounds before touring the mansion, but once we went inside, we knew this was the place for us. Loraine was so easy to work with and her enthusiasm about Tarrywile is contagious. The mansion is gorgeous and being able to have indoor and outdoor options for the ceremony and reception was ideal. Though we had hoped for an outdoor wedding, cold and rain forced our late April wedding indoors, where we were able to have an amazing ceremony inside the conservatory. There's easy trails if all you're looking for is a relaxing walk around the pond or around the green fields, for those feeling a little more adventurous there is always the yellow trail that leads you to a pick which provides an amazing view of the town of Danbury. Read moreWhen we decided to come up to Danbury for the weekend, we looked for dog friendly hiking trails and found Tarrywile. The scenery from the pictures looked amazing so we decided that that was where we would go. We arrived at around 8am with our two small dogs. The map was a little difficult to read so I snapped a picture on my phone just for reference. We followed the white trail and then walked through the hay field.
