Danville Area Community College — Attraction in Danville

Worst college ever!! They just hire anybody who haven’t experience as a professor or class, materials, grading rubrics, projects and assignments that are expensive come out of pocket and professors wanna be specific of what they like instead of what u tried and have a ugly snotty attitudes if ask questions or anything and why be a professor if u ain’t gonna help your students at all and they picking favorite students and targeting one of the students and the professor drama of not being helpful or specific at anything directions told towards students and everytime I see the professor always have to say something targeting one student if they feel like if they carefully do something the professor wanna say something and treating classmates should be equal not full of drama and picking favorites and should be there to help one another not leaving them single handed in class and one of them professor like to pile more more in one day of writing essay and homework and taking off points when they instructions ain’t being told right and their grading needs to be consistent so I suggest you find some good experience professor and have a decent attitude cause these professors working right now...

horrible.....although we had an appointment 2 weeks in advance, the counselor kept us waiting almost 2 hours as he was at a basketball tournament at U of I. Finally arrived and couldn't have been more rude, rushing us thru the meeting, no doubt not happy that he was called to leave that game. Decided this was NOT the place for my son....he went to KCC, graduated and is working in his field of trade . However, leave it to DACC, they are still sending us 1098-T's every year showing my son not only attended school there but got help with tuition. Not true...my son never attended one day of school there. They can't even tell me what class he supposedly answered "present" in when rocall was done. Pay out of district tuition if you must.....its worth it to stay out of DACC. Bad enough my tax...

I wish I could give zero stars. Trying to get in touch with anyone at this college is impossible. I've called multiple departments at different times of the day, every day and no one ever answers the phone. It's incredibly frustrating and makes me question how they handle important issues if they can't even pick up a phone. Save yourself the headache and...
