Flying Carrot Farm — Attraction in Dartmouth

Spent the summer working here for Susan & Tony. Really great people doing a great thing for their community! The farm is all organic, no pesticides/herbicides/fungicides etc. although they are not "certified" they still hold the same standards as those who are and their produce is the proof. I was introduced to the most amazing crop of yellow water melons (aka the yellow doll variety) Imagine a regular watermelon but with more carotene (from the yellow flesh) and actually much sweeter than the red variety! I enjoyed working with them so much over the summer that i purchased a Winter CSA share from them and it has been awesome. Highly recommend. They have a farm store that is usually open during the week with a different range of vegetables/potatoes/other root veg and occasional greens depending on the season.
