Friendly Pizza & Seafood — Restaurant in Dartmouth

( they took down 2 already so here it is ) It was a problem with the Quasi owner lady. This reservation was booked 6 weeks beforehand, at the time we had our last group ( bigger at that ). It was confirmed 2 weeks in advance and then 4 days beforehand. They did have just one young waitress on despite knowing full well about our group. Then what happened was the place filled up in couples etc and the owner/cook was forced to help. She then took and cooked and served orders ( the same orders we had put in an hour BEFORE the "rush") to people who in some cases were there an hour after our orders were taken. That's when I calmly got up and approached her as to what was going on. Half of us were there at 1130 and all but one who came in at 12:10 ,'were there at 12. Our order was taken at 12:07 then only 4 other people not part of our group came in. At 1:10 I got up and asked where our meals were considering by then some 16 people who came in at least 20 minutes after our last person, were served and eating. That's when she started screaming at me about not knowing we were starving and she had taken the other people first as she had waited on them. I sat back down she came to out table and continued screaming at us, upsetting everyone. When I then told her I didn't understand what happened to her and why she was screaming at us when everything was fine the last time and she opened up with "you don't understand there are starving people ..I interrupted her and said she should understand the whole place was hearing her and I would place this story all over Facebook for everyone to see. At that point she grabbed a lady's hand and started praying and calmed right down. She eventually blamed the waitress but this was not the issue. She " threw that poor girl under the bus". Our order was taken at 12:07 I complained at 1:10 And our meals of sandwiches and fried scallops or fish and dinner salads started coming out at 1:38. None of those meals were exotic or any different than what other patrons were ordering and eating 90 minutes AFTER we had ordered. Her behavior was surreal, despite my scallop meal being delicious.

All that being said, have you EVER been to a restaurant where they don't ask you as soon as you sit down if you want a drink? In my case and another lady's we waited half an hour were never asked and when we asked for coffee the owner told us "no one was ordering anything until everyone came"

Absolutely the worst dining experience in my 46 years. So disgusted with the server’s behavior that I was compelled to leave with our party of 18. Her disgusting treatment of our simple order including lying about our orders multiple times to cover for her demented memory moved me to walk out. Her presence absolutely leads me to believe the management is incompetent and most probably is mishandling basic food safety, cleanliness, customer financial information etc. The rudeness would rival the worst you have heard and in fact started accusing people of the most awful things, a total embarrassment. There is zero chance she has not been that awful for years and they will for sure ruin whatever nostalgia you still hold for their food. I would 100 percent recommend you choose one of the thousand other restaurants on the south coast rather than risk an encounter with that server. What a nightmare. Happy holidays to you,...

Lets start with the good: my wife and I got a cup of chowder to split, it was very good, and had decent flavor! It was only lukewarm though... now for my disappointments. I was taken aback at the price vs quality & quantities.... we ordered the shrimp and scallop pie (large). The pie that came out was a medium in my opinion.. I was sorely disappointed in the lack of seafood on the pie for $25...... there was hardly any shrimp on it! We got the bill, and found out I got charged .50 for my single slice of lemon that I asked for with my water...... I had to laugh! That was on top of the $1.50 they charged me for the bottle!!! Also know that they only take cash, however I didn't see that posted anywhere...... thankfully my wife had some cash on hand. The young waitress was really nice, but seemed the other older lady was really making it hard for...
