Dauphin Beach — Attraction in Dauphin Island

So this beach is ‘private’. That just means the money goes to the owners of the Pirates Bar & Grill. $10 per adult & $5 per child. It’s ok. Very little sand. Dogs allowed. We took a long walk around the beach and passed groups fishing and then a group of about 5 boats. They had loud music and it smelled like someone uses that area to dump whatever they didn’t want to keep after some off shore deep sea fishing. Fish heads washed up on shore etc Not worth a revisit.

My recommendation, go to the public beaches run by the town of Dauphin Island. These are the West, Middle and East end public beaches. $10 per car and lots cleaner and more...
