Keep On Blooming Boutique — Attraction in Davis

THANK YOU for saving the day!!! An online florist company (fFTD) that I've used for years without problem had canceled my pre-placed flower order for my great aunt's 100th birthday. I was sent multiple email notices at 3pm the day the order was to be delivered!!! The cancelation notices said they "couldn't find a florist to create and deliver my order. sorry." I understand these things can happen, but come on--i had placed the order several days earlier. Grrr...Why was I getting this cancellation notice at the END of the workday on which my confirmed and paid-for order was to be delivered??? I was fried. So I immediately searched for a local florist in Davis and quickly found Keep On Blooming Boutique , read all the 5-star reviews. I also explored other local florists and read reviews, but the first one I decided to call was Keep On Blooming Boutique. At this point in desperation and not wanting to be given false hope, I was so happy to have a real-life conversation with the owner. She asked my price range and suggested an arrangement with fresh roses that had just been delivered to the shop that day, assuring me they would deliver the next day and would text me upon delivery. You can see the absolutely gorgeous results in the attached photo. My great aunt was so delighted and her daughter (my cousin) told me how stunningly beautiful and fresh the arrangement was-- "Just Beautiful!!!" Needless to say, i can't recommend this florist highly enough for turning a frustrating experience with FTP into a truly special experience for my beloved great aunt (and me!)!! Thank...

Wonderful customer service and amazing products! The owner is a lovely lady and absolute doll. Sadly, this really could have been 5 stars review if it wasn’t for the fact I was charged $125.00 more than the local florist in the area were offering. Various other florist in Davis were highly rated and had very positive reviews. It was a crazy mark up and all the other florists in the area had paid for the same demand of the product. They in turn passed it off to the consumer. However, this was exorbitant. The cost of doing business was factored in and so was a hint of greed and a complete disregard for future patronage. Very kind and accommodating but, that’s after they receive your payment information. $205.00 for slightly wilted SHORT stem roses in a vase and a $2.00 hallmark card with a hand written note…not good at all. The owner and operator is very accommodating and quite lovely…but, you can’t take advantage of people and expect repeat business. If she’d thought about the long game and been realistic about pricing I’d be writing a very different review and referring her to everyone and anyone who would listen. That’s what it’s all about. Do unto others as you’d have them do unto you. But, the roses were beautiful and she seemed passionate about creating memories and works of art. Give her an opportunity and if it feels shady then call her out and work through it to find a happy medium. Nobody wants to feel taken...
