Brown County Parks Department - Brown County Fairgrounds — Attraction in De Pere

Very nice place to bring kids when the fair is going on. I enjoyed the rides and food they had to offer,along with the hands on farm animals they had for show there. I wish they had more than one show per year and involve more pets but as it stands it's a great place. This year the employees weren't as bad as other's trying to wheel you in to play all the games,thankful for that because you can definitely spend alot of money in that place between food and rides. It's also set up by the water so you can bring your meal over there and enjoy the view while you eat. I will definitely be participating in this year's event that they hold along with any other in the future, parking was on the edge of being high with the cost of tickets to get in but there are rides that are included with the purchase of tickets which is nice. Be sure if you do go dress for the weather because its usually hot and humid out when it is in town. I have went out to the fairgrounds when they held other events but the fair out beats all other events...

For being a bit of a smaller fair the Brown County Fair was actually pretty incredible. They had quite a few rides and games and they had tons of food vendors also. They had an Australian exhibit with all kinds of animals exclusive to their country. For as cheap as it was, $14/person and that includes everything including parking and rides, it was absolutely worth it. It was almost 40 mins from us and it was so good that we went back Saturday night and on Sunday also, which was only $10 because they closed at 6pm. Reviewing the Rodeo and the fairfrom last year ( 2015 ). The fair itself is awesome. Well organized and spread out so it doesn't seem like your walking all over people. The rodeo however wouldn't even get one star in my opinion. Since it's free with paid admission anyone can go. We went in about 45 till Rodeo time and people were not just reserving seats for others, but almost whole sections! Me and my family (5 people ) finally found a spot to sit. Which happened to be front row. But then people come and stand in front of you. There's no security or anyone to move them along. They should charge a separate fee to get...
