Arabian Village Market — Attraction in Dearborn

First time having a bad experience there the place smelled like dirty mop water as if it hadn't been mopped in years... And on top of that the older dude handling the meat was extremely unattentive to what we were asking him for.. and gave us the wrong thing twice when he can clearly see what we wanted total disrespect for the customer and thought we were going to pay for it... lastly one of the cashiers had the audacity to have an attitude with me when they aren't even doing their jobs right and even threatened to throw something .... She should really be terminated So I would take business elsewhere until they start keeping up with their store again let's not forget the birds nests that are made inside of the sign of the store and they allow birds to defecate all over the side walks... if you want bare minimum service with no respect for their customers shop here! I visited Arabian Village Marketplace for the very first time with a friend ⬆️. She was picking up their Greek yogurt and the biscuit-style breads they keep on the counter. She paired them together and let me tell you—it made for a surprisingly delightful snack 🥣🥖. I later returned with another friend who raved about their cheese 🧀. She offered me a taste, and while she enjoys it, it looked a little too milky for me personally 🥛.

I did purchase a jar of their garlic paste 🧄 and used it a couple of times. It had a bold flavor, but for some reason, it didn’t sit quite right with me. I tend to prefer fresh garlic, just to be sure nothing extra is added 🌱. Still, the store has a unique selection and it’s definitely worth checking out at least once!

I do love the products here so much and I wish I could give this place a 5 star rating and I would if it weren't for one horrible experience that drove me away. I sent my husband to get meat from the butcher there and the butcher gave my husband rotten meat and was very rude when my husband complained of the horrible smell. He started yelling and making a fit and refusing to take the meat back for an exchange or refund. It took a huge argument to get the butcher to refund us, he told us to leave and not to come back again and refused to give us a replacement for the rotten meat he tried to sell us first. It so upsetting because the cashiers and other workers are so sweet and the market side is all great with lovely products, and before this experience I would have given 5 stars easily.
