I really enjoyed this trail. We found it a little difficult to find because we had to drive through the boat parking and past the boat launch to locate the back parking lot. Once you are there it is very easy. We took our road bikes and the trail is very wide so it makes it nice for riding. It starts with a boardwalk under a canopy of trees which is absolutely lovely and it winds back and forth. The trail is marked well along the way and there are hiking trails off of the main trail. There are benches along the way incase you need a break to rest. The trail connects you to Green Springs Park. This is part of Volusia County's Coast to Coast Trail System. There is signage for the history of the river and other other information for the area. Don't forget to stop a read the signs. I definitely recommend this trail it is absolutely lovely.

To get to the trail head parking go through the boat ramp parking, past the ramp and then you will see it. Small parking area just for the trailhead. Bathrooms were out of order/closed on a sunday morning. Camping area was also closed. Springs to springs trail was excellent. Board walk and shade for the first mile, then alternating crossing power line easements with no shade with sections of winding shady paths, lots of benches, watch for oncoming people traffic as its a pretty winding path. Great bike ride. Note that our GPS tried to take us to old deland road to access this trailhead - we entered through the boat ramp to the dirt parking lot. There may be another paved parking lot accessed from Old Deland Road, which might be safer than going through the boat ramp parking area.

This trailhead has a restroom that is clean and stocked. There is a pavilion as well. Parking nearby. Close to a beautiful boardwalk and boat ramp at Lake Monroe. We see plenty of rabbits and squirrels. The occasional deer and snakes. Plenty of birds to watch as well. The trail has never been super busy, but people are on it quite a bit. Good for walking, riding, kids, dogs, and skateboards. Parts are very shaded and some are open.
