★ Popularity: Locally known. ★ Size/Location: Small. ★ Trail difficulty: Easy. ★ Business Hour: Dawn to dusk. ★ Scenery and views: Views of meadows and wildflower fields. ★ Parking: Spacious. ★ Accessibility: None. ★ Amenities: Benches, shelters, children playgrounds, educational signs, ornamental gardens, restrooms. ★ Condition and cleanliness: Clean and well-maintained ★ Safety: Safe neighborhood. ★ Crowd levels: Busy. ★ Reservation: Public. ★ Expense: Free. During my recent visit to Kingswood Park, I was pleasantly surprised by the charming ambiance and variety of amenities that the park had to offer. The park was bustling with people engaged in various outdoor activities, ranging from leisurely strolls to early Easter celebrations. The beautiful weather added to the overall appeal of the park, making it the perfect destination for a fun-filled day out with family and friends. The park is well equipped to cater to the needs of all visitors, with its range of amenities including benches, shelters, children playgrounds, educational signs, ornamental gardens, and restrooms. The park's impressive array of facilities ensures that visitors can enjoy their time here to the fullest. For me, however, the main attraction was the trail that winds through the park. The 0.35-mile-long loop is paved and provides a delightful walking experience, with plenty of opportunities to stop and admire the beautiful surroundings. As I strolled along the trail, I couldn't help but stop and read the educational signs that were strategically placed along the way. These signs provide fascinating insights into the park's flora and fauna, making the walk both informative and engaging. Although the trail was generally clean and well-maintained, I did come across a patch of dirt, but it was easily avoided by walking around it. Overall, Kingswood Park is a wonderful destination for visitors of all ages. The park's beautiful surroundings, combined with its range of amenities, make it an ideal spot for a fun-filled day out. I highly recommend a visit to Kingswood Park to anyone looking for a delightful and informative outdoor experience.

Beautiful 90+ acres park for walking the dog or going for a bike ride. Lots of trails and open grass. Nice place for a quiet evening walk. The farmers market on every Saturday 9 am - Noon. The new playground addition for kids is awesome! Amenities: Community Pavilion, Restrooms, Walking Paths, Pollinator Gardens, Native Prairie (north side - installed May 2021), kids play ground. Community Garden, Farmers Market, Little Free Library, Educational Signage (Nature/Environmental Education Topics: Pollinators, Native Plants, Migrating Birds/Butterflies, Bug Safari, etc.)

This is a small but very beautiful park speciall for kids. There are different slides for each age level and also turf to protect them if they fell down. Covered with greeneries and there are some physical workout training area as well. Sufficient parking space and specific area for the picnic and small gathering. Near the road so don't have to walk more if you just want to reach the kids play area directly.

Old golf course converted into a park. On the Irwin Simpson side, there is a lovely pavilion with restrooms and water. On Saturdays, the Deerfield farmer's market is open from 9 to noon on Saturday. But the pavilion is used as a meeting place for runners, card groups, Tai Chi groups, etc. They also recently added a community garden. Very recently, they have started to improve the walking trails that go from the back of the pavilion down to Innovation Drive and up the other side. It is very extensive. That side of the trails are only partially paved so there is a lot of walking on grass and uneven surfaces. Hopefully in the next few years, they will be able to...
