My friend and I took our dogs to the dog park section. It was very large, verdant, and extremely well maintained. They had plenty of bags so that you could pick up after your dogs, and truth be told I did not see any landmines anywhere. There were a few benches scattered about, but they honestly could have used a few more. There was still plenty of room to throw a frisbee or tennis ball. There's also a water fountain near the front to keep your pets well hydrated. They have a section for smaller dogs that are 30 lbs and under as well. Read moreThis was my absolute favorite park. Friendly owners and a well cared for park with a nice combination of sun and shade, plenty of seating, water and a separate small dog side. Unfortunately, the “mulch” they’ve been bringing in lately is horrible. Sharp, wood chipper chunks and it tore up my dogs paw and we’ve had to stay on small dog side. Only now that’s out too! Read moreWhile the play area at the park is small, there is plenty of space to run around in the sun and the dog park is great as well. I personally love that they don't attempt to grow much grass in the dog park area and go with mulch instead. This really keeps down the mud, especially after a rain.
