A decent park. Have played with the family on the soccer fields and fished. Field were in good shape. Plenty of fields for soccer (or any large field sport) and baseball. A nice park for the kids and shelters to run. Have no walked on the trails. Though the lake offers fishing and we fished there once, not sure we'd go back for fishing. No bites after and hour. Lots of turtles so was concerned the kids would hook one. The lake itself wasn't the cleaned with some junk/debris along the shoreline. Also saw a dead carp and a dead duck (which you could tell has been there a while)

The park is very near... Almost walkable distance from my home so we visit the park regularly. It's mostly filledup with baseball games and sometime football activities. At the entry we can see many soccer training for children and there are many slides and workout structures based on the age. There is an artificial pond in the center making it more beautiful. It is a place where many school and family gathering takes place and I also like to workout and play with my kid here.

Was looking for a place that had soccer fields and some neat hiking trails to take the kids. The soccer fields were put away for off season but the hiking was really neat. The trails meander through a forest and there are neat sites to see. Plus a field where we saw a lot of butterflies. We got some neat pictures with lots of light contrasts. The pond was being dredged but we will definitely return to see the park during the fall winter and spring.

Landen Deerfield Park, nestled in the heart of Deerfield Township, Ohio, is a breath of fresh air for anyone seeking a tranquil space to unwind or engage in recreational activities. Its well-maintained grounds, array of amenities, and peaceful atmosphere make it a standout destination for families, sports enthusiasts, and nature lovers alike.

The park, sprawling over 96 acres, is truly a green haven. The verdant landscapes are meticulously maintained, with lush lawns and a variety of mature trees providing ample shade on sunny days. The trails winding through the park are excellent for a relaxing stroll, bike ride, or an invigorating run. The serene lake is another highlight, adding a charming water element to the park's scenery.

For families, Landen Deerfield Park is an absolute delight. The playground is a major draw, featuring modern, safe equipment that can keep children entertained for hours. There's also plenty of open space for picnics or just running around. It's also worth noting that the park is dog-friendly, making it a great spot for bringing your four-legged friends for a day out.

Sports enthusiasts will appreciate the park's wide range of facilities. The soccer fields, baseball diamonds, and tennis courts are well-maintained and offer an excellent venue for both casual games and organized sports. The park also boasts a sand volleyball court and a basketball court, catering to a diverse range of athletic interests.

The park's amenities are rounded out by clean and well-kept restrooms, ample parking spaces, and several shelters that can be rented for special occasions. The park staff deserves commendation for their work in keeping the facilities clean and in good condition.

However, as with any place, there's room for improvement. The park could benefit from more benches or seating areas, especially around the playground. It would also be nice to see some upgrades to the older sports facilities to match the quality of the newer ones.

In conclusion, Landen Deerfield Park is a gem in Deerfield Township. With its expansive green spaces, variety of recreational facilities, and tranquil atmosphere, it provides a wonderful escape from the hustle and bustle of daily life. Whether you're a sports enthusiast, a parent with young children, or someone simply seeking a quiet place to enjoy nature, Landen Deerfield Park is well...

My dog has anxiety and behavioral issues due to the fact that he went through some serious medical problems. He has continuously been attacked and harassed by off leash dogs so he can be reactive though he really does love and get along with well mannered dogs. He is not only going through a medical recovery, but a behavioral one. This place used to be my FAVORITE park as a kid. Never was too busy except for their kids sports games. 2020 rolled around and this place is a lost cause. I used to come here because they do have leash regulations. But a regular occurrence here is when somebody's dog is off leash running up to my dog to harass him. My controlled and very on leash dog does not like it and these dogs do not have any sense of boundaries. The owners simply do not care. I'm not okay with that. There's leash regulations for a reason but again and again nobody follows that and the park doesn't reinforce that. No matter how friendly or good you think your dog is- doesn't mean I want your dog harassing mine. This has happened time and time again. Every time I come here I encounter lots of very inconsiderate people coming through- their dogs off leash. So, if you're somebody with allergies to dogs, you have a dog yourself, or you just don't want your peace to be disrupted by some dog owners who refuse to read and listen to a sign.. then don't come here. I loved this place and now it's the one park I can't stand which is unfortunate. I guess I can't be too mad at the park itself but it's basically a dog park at this point and there's a good reason I didn't choose to go to...

Great park! Please do something about the Pokémon Go people entering the park. While they are tolerable on ordinary days, the times where they organize for tournaments or whatever it is they do, they make the park significantly unsafe. They drive too slow or too fast, and they all have their heads buried in their phones and they’re going to hurt or kill a small child. I’ve watch this activity grow over the past several years and while I’m not trying to ruin their fun, they really aren’t accessing the park for the right reasons. They’re making it more congested and unsafe while not even getting out of their cars to enjoy it. I said what I said 🤷. Park administration...
