Del City Pickup Parts Inc — Attraction in Del City

I'm not one to talk bad about a business but customer service goes a long way. So much that I bypassed this place which is literally 3 minutes away from me to go all the way on May street to a diffirent place that had the same product but the other place had it for 20 dollars more. I refuse to give a company my business or hard earned money to be talked to rudely . I called this place looking for a part for my vehicle. The woman that answered the phone first just said hello, so I didn't even know if this was a business or someone's personal line. So as I proceed to say hello back she hangs up in my face. No big deal maybe there was a bad connection. So I called back, the same woman answered this time at least saying the business name. I proceed to ask do they have my part available and she is by far the rudest woman I have encountered . She was very dry and you could tell she didn't want to be there or on the phone with me . I ask her how much the part is she tells me and I ask what time they close and she rudely tells me . So I decided to call one more place to see if I could find it cheaper. The place I called had the part but it was 20$ more but the guy was very customer friendly , answered my questions and even gave me insight on things I didn't know as well. Now this place was further so I called the woman back and asked since the part was in the car still do I need to do a deposit or anything how does your process work. And she rudely takes a deep breath and says well just come down tell us what u want and we will pull it for you. The way she said it and went about the entire encounter was rude, and unprofessional and just not right . I've owned a business and I've worked in customer service pretty much my entire working life . If she worked for me I would definately fire her. So now I decided to take my money elsewhere and spend more , not to mention drive more of a distance. All because of customer service . So thank u rude lady for letting me find out how unimportant my business is . I will never be contacting this establishment again solely...

I've always had good luck with Del City Pick up the last 30 years but my last visit I was highly disappointed. All I needed was a simple hydraulic line that connects from the top of the rack and pinion to the power steering pump on my 2007 Silverado. As soon as I walked in showed the lady behind the counter my defective line she knew instantly they probably didn't have one, but I've been in the lot with the attendant many times and have seen those hydraulic lines all over. Asked to go back in the lot as usual and was denied. 30 minutes later as I sat and waited I was informed they didn't have one. Wished I believed that but I don't. So thanks a lot for nothing. I will no longer shop at Del City...

They were amazing ! Customer service was perfect ! I had a emergency , my glass shattered on my GMC envoy xl , on my back windshield it was bad . Called almost every place in town was quoted well over 600 and up for the replacement. Called a couple local auto parts store and they were well over priced as well! I called Del city and they were fast with replying back to me in the price and it was way more reasonable then the other local stores ! I would definitely recommend them ! I will be returning for more...
