Great little hiking loop, parking can be tight and difficult to use.
Make sure you know where parking is located (North side of Del Rey Oaks).
Depending where you come from, you may have to turn around to access the parking, which is just a strip off the side of the main road.
Parking is also limited, can be a bit difficult to ingress/egress if you have a low clearance vehicle toward the end. Hard to stop and exit due to traffic driving too fast on this stretch.
The plan is to eventually get a formal parking lot on a separate connected unit, but who probably 5-10 years off at this point.
Very peaceful, nice for kids to watch ducks with a viewing platform and benches. Dog bags and trash cans available at entrance. Nice seasonal changes in color and...

Well maintained trail, mostly shaded, would recommend! I saw other post regarding poison oak, while I didn't see any(it was winter anyway), there was plenty of spiked berry bush which looks similar. Beware of thorns if venturing off path.
No toilet facilities, but trash and recycling avaliable...

Watch out for mosquitoes though they grow big in these woods and still bit me through my shirt so I end up having to wear a jacket even on a hot day if I'm gonna sit still for a while take pictures! Also, looks like the pond might be a vernal pond since it pretty much was gone on...
