Such a great park that has been part of Philadelphias history since the 19th century. Given the size of this park, it is surprisingly well maintained aside from the one end closer Comly and that's only do to the fact that there's work being done there. The new playground and sprinklers are so nice and the basketball courts are a great place for kids to hang out and shoot hoops. I only wish there was a dog park! (I've included also awesome photos of the park in its hey day, back when it was part of the Cornelius estate as well as when the Pavillion was there and the pond that was once where the basketball...

Wish the tennis courts were cleaned. I wonder who do I need to talked to, to get it cleaned up with all the cracks and over grown grass? My daughter plays tennis for school and I’d love to be able to take her to the closest court for practice but this courts has so many overgrown grass it’s difficult to play 😩 any advice would be greatly appreciated.
