Trees Lake Park — Attraction in Deming

We took a day trip from Las Cruces to visit this park because we had seen it advertised on tv. It is clearly still under construction. One large pond had people fishing, some families feeding ducks and walkers/runners going around the pond. The playground is awesome. The trails between the pond and playground and around the pond are not finished. Many spots are inaccessible for wheelchair/stroller/maternity/elderly/toddlers. It appears they are creating another large pond next to the playground. Locked restrooms made my experience bad. We look forward to returning even though there were a few...
