AVOID AT ALL COSTS. KEEP DRIVING AND DO NOT STOP HERE. Below is the nightmare you’ll experience if you ignore this warning. Upon moving out, we were told the carpet was stained underneath—supported by just two vague photos and no pre-move-in documentation to compare. Naturally, they blamed us without evidence. They also charged us for painting, despite our proper patching and sanding. Yet, they refused to provide paint or its color and charged outrageous repainting fees. Expect a copy-paste corporate response trying to excuse their endless failures.
Missing Apartment Number Plaque: Our unit lacked a plaque, and after multiple inquiries, we were told it was on backorder. Six months later, nothing. Instead, someone taped a yellow post-it note outside, making the complex look trashy. We finally bought a number plate from Amazon to avoid delivery issues—two years, and no plaque was ever ordered.
Unsafe Environment & Drug Activity: The tenant below let random people occupied the, openly selling drugs from the balcony and smoking constantly. Complaints to management were ignored, and we were told to call the police. After calling, the tenants verbally assaulted my wife in the parking lot. Management refused to let us break our lease without a $4,000 penalty. It took over a year to evict them, but the damage was done.
Fly Infestation from Abandoned Unit: After the tenants were evicted, their apartment sat empty, spreading a fly and gnat infestation into our unit. Management ignored our complaints, leaving us in a disgusting environment. They left a rotting microwave on the balcony for weeks before doing anything.
Overrun Pool Closed Off: The pool, which we paid for, was always overrun by non-residents drinking and blasting music. Management eventually shut the pool down for everyone after severe electrical issues with destroyed underwater lights that could have hospitalized residents, leaving us without access to an amenity we were paying for.
Trash Compactor Disaster: The only trash compactor often jammed, causing piles of trash to block walkways. Management did nothing to fix it, leaving food and waste to spill everywhere, creating health hazards.
Citywide Freeze & Late Fees: During a freeze, my payroll was delayed by a day. Despite this, the complex charged a 10% late fee and revoked my ability to pay by check, forcing me to use a credit card and incur fees. Their corporate office smugly said, "Our offices are fine"—while their front office stayed closed, leaving sidewalks dangerously icy.
Poison Scattered Recklessly: The complex scattered bird poison carelessly in common areas, forcing us to monitor our toddler to ensure her safety. The handling of hazardous materials was reckless and irresponsible.
Threats Over Honest Reviews: When we mentioned posting a review, the manager threatened eviction, claiming it violated the lease. We knew other tenants who faced similar threats for posting about the unprofessionalism and health risks here.
Ignored Mold & Health Hazards: Many residents found mold and health violations ignored. Third-party inspectors confirmed mold, but management denied and deflected. When we moved out, we found mold behind our patches—evidence of how little they care about safety.
Move-Out Charges & Scams: Despite maintaining the apartment, we were charged over $1,000 for carpet replacement and repainting—standard charges according to former employees. Management’s tactic of squeezing tenants for every cent is despicable.
Final Warning: This complex is unsafe, overpriced, and mismanaged. They ignore health violations, threaten tenants, and scam you with hidden fees. They tried raising rent to $2,100 for a two-bedroom—we found a four-bedroom house for just a little more. Stay away from...
Read moreI have lived here a little over 2 years now. The apartment has a nice layout and was clean upon moving in. The maintenance staff is very responsive. However, I have run into some problems with the complex. The rent will increase yearly, even if they have units with your same floor plan that are on the market for $200 less than what you are currently paying. When asked why rent was increasing if they have units that are open and going for less than what I was paying, the response was "that's just how it is".
My remote for the front gate became weaker over the past couple of weeks, meaning that instead of pulling up to the box at the gate and clicking the remote once to get in, I now have to hit the button 10-15 times for it to open. I went in to get the remote switched out for one with a better battery and they refused to give me another one. They walked out to the gate box, hit the button a few times, said it worked and gave it back. I tried to explain what was happening and that I was having to press the button way too many times to open the front gate, but they just told me that I wasn't close enough to the box, which is definitely not the problem.
Rent now has to be paid online. When I first moved in, you could pay in person with check, but since Bell Partners took over that is no longer an option. You have to pay online with a bank account, or pay the extra 3% to use your credit card. I had set up automatic payments for rent, but had a problem one month where they automatic payment did not go through. I received a call informing me that it did not go through 5 days later, in which they also added a 10% late fee to my rent. After a certain number of days, you also cannot pay online with your bank account and can only pay with your credit card. So they wanted me to pay my rent + 10% late fee + 3% on top of that for rent due to their system error. I called one of the ladies in the front office, who told me that she could take off the late fee since I had paid my rent on the 1st of the month every month for the past 2 years, but then told me the next day that she could no longer remove it and that I had to pay the amount due or else I would be evicted.
There are definitely far worse places to live, but just know that if you have any problems that aren't maintenance related and need to be taken care of by the office,...
Read moreI lived in this complex for two years. When I first moved in, I loved it. It was quiet and safe (I was a single mom and felt comfortable letting my child stay home alone). I also enjoyed all the activities they planned for tenants and extra social events. The parking situation was never resolved as a previous review states. I had to pay $100 extra each month for a covered space and garage just to guarantee I had a place to park. There were several times during my residence that someone else would park in my covered parking spot. Every time I complained, I was told there was nothing they could do about it. I didn't mind as much because my car was protected during storms and I had a guaranteed spot where I wanted it. What finally turned me against the complex was when it came time to terminate my lease and move out. The office staff I had begun my lease with were no longer there and no one seemed to want to help me with the process. One person told me all I had to do was just move out and turn in my keys. Having dealt with several other complexes, I knew that it was standard to have to clean the apartment, all the appliances and make it as move-in ready as possible to prevent all the little extra charges they like to tack on to keep your deposit. I even borrowed a carpet shampooer to clean the carpets that should've been replaced before I even moved in. They kept my entire deposit, pet deposit, and charged me an additional $82 claiming they had to replace the carpet and I was expected to pay for it. I had several service requests and even documented on my move-in papers how bad the carpet was. When I asked the office to review it and contact me, no one ever returned my calls and didn't care that I was going to report them to the BBB and give bad reviews online. I would certainly think twice and a third time before recommending...
