3rd time was certainly not the charm. I gave this place 3 chances and each time was worse than the one before. I don’t know if they’re too afraid to use seasoning, but their food is very bland. Their queso is watery and tasteless. Their brisket is dry and without flavor. Their chicken and fish were also extremely bland. If it wasn’t for the vegetables in the fish tacos it would have absolutely no flavor whatsoever. Enchiladas were also in the same boat as the other entrees. I will not be back. Word of advice; please season your food and use better cheese. Also, no amount of salt could mask the taste of their cardboard flavored chips. I have never in my life seen a piece of pure white chicken breast served on top of a platter of unsautéed mushrooms and onions. They are definitely not producing their food with traditional mexican flavors and are instead catering to those who prefer flavorless,...

The food is good. One of my children ordered a combo meal that came with no beans or rice for the price of a full combo . We had never seen this at any Mexican restaurant before. Another child ordered a chimichanga that was about half the expected size for a full price meal. I received the wrong thing and the waiter tried to teach me how to order when I was very precise on what I wanted. My frozen margarita was not even filled all the way. Finally, I felt something wet on my stomach. It was a previous customer’s food stuck to the side of the table that I leaned against. It was gross. Any one of these things would be fine but all at once was too much. I will probably never return after eating there multiple times...

Didn’t even know this place existed until recently, but after seeing all the good reviews wanted to give it a try too. It lived up to those reviews. The service was very good and was a constant effort by the entire staff. The food was also very good.

My only complaints were that they don’t offer free chips and salsa like many similar restaurants and don’t offer a traditional queso. There is, of course, chips and salsa and they aren’t expensive, just not what we’re used to. There is also a queso appetizer but it’s the kind designed for tortillas and not the kind you can really dip. My family ate it all so I didn’t get to try it but I’ll take that as a good sign.

Overall we enjoyed the visit and will probably...

The name is a little confusing... license plates and roadside diner theme, but most, if not all of the cuisine was Mexican. The sampler platter offered a good amount of food with several of the restaurant's featured items, all served on a metal tray. The tacos were large and loaded with tomatoes and cheese. The meat could have been seasoned a little more and all items could stand a bit more spice. But I love to support owners who have the courage to step out on their own. Certainly worth trying... I will continue to watch and hope they refine their concept and menu.

We came in on a Friday night just after 8, hoping to miss the dinner rush. Walked into the restaurant where there were plenty of dirty tables and service staff standing at the end of the kitchen. Food was served cold and bland, we had to wait for dirty glasses to be cleaned for our weak margaritas and our sever was kind but almost never seen. Management took my meal off the bill and gave a half hearted apology blaming that the restaurant “business” is the reason why everything was lackluster. Don’t waste your money here.

I had a really good experience having dinner at the bar. Both bartenders were friendly and attentive. I had a delicious cucumber jalapeno margarita - very refreshing! The Traveler's enchiladas were very good with a queso mixed with verde salsa sauce. Refried beans and rice were excellent. The only thing I would change is having house-made chips and a chucky salsa instead of smooth. I will return!
