My bf and I drove a hour to come here after finding out about it, we swam for about 15-20 minutes and immediately after drying off we broke out in hives head to toe with swimmers itch. This was June 1st so even if the water is still pretty cold you can still get it! Ruined our whole days plans and had to drive a hour back home immediately because the itching was so bad. The city should know to put signs up if this is a common accurance (going off of other reviews). Read moreThere are days you end up walking the beach with the smell of the lake either pleasing or tormenting you, and some little tableau will catch your eye and for a moment you forget everything but the moment and let "Lake Time" take over.
