Title: A Captivating Day at the Russell Industrial Complex! Review: I recently had the pleasure of spending a day at the Russell Industrial Complex and it was nothing short of incredible. The space is a dynamic blend of the past and the future, where industrial architecture is transformed into a thriving hub of arts and humanities. From the moment I walked in, I was captivated by the vibrant energy that pervades the complex. The wide array of projects showcased here is awe-inspiring, displaying an impressive range of creativity and talent from local artists, designers, and entrepreneurs. I was particularly charmed by the sense of community the Russell Industrial Complex fosters. It’s not just a venue for exhibitions, it’s a nurturing environment where creativity flourishes and ideas are born. Another great aspect of this gem is its commitment to supporting local businesses. This is palpable in everything they do, from the products sold in their retail spaces to the events they host. It’s a testament to the power of supporting and uplifting your local community. In conclusion, I would highly recommend the Russell Industrial Complex to anyone looking for a unique, enriching experience. It’s a testament to Detroit’s resilience and creativity, a place where arts and humanities come to life in the most captivating way. So, visit, explore, and support your local businesses - you won’t be disappointed! Five stars without a doubt!

We went here for the monsters ball halloween event. The venue itself was actually pretty clean there was security and it felt safe. The event itself wasnt what it was suppose to be. We were suppose to have shows and VIP bathrooms with there weren't any. There was a vip bar so they could make even more money then the over priced tickets we payed for with vip(100.00 each). To not offer the amenities they said and for the vip areas to be smaller then the rest of the show was as ridiculous. I will say that my lady was pleased with the way they maintained the restrooms. They had employees on staff cleaning the bathrooms between uses. We even left early the show was so good.

As an elevator enthusiast, I found this place to be AMAZING! A friend of mine in the industry told me to stop by here and boy was I NOT disappointed! I took a ride on their historic 1920s OTIS freight elevator and it runs like the day it was installed. The building itself is BEAUTIFUL in every way to somebody that appreciates historic buildings. Also picked up an awesome sign from an antique mall at the facility. If the owner reads this, THANKS for preserving your historic elevators!

Finally got to check out the Russell Industrial Center this week. Loved it there. We parked, walked around a bit, and had a very nice meeting. This venue is pure Detroit. There are a few shops set up inside. But a whole lot of spaces for rent for any type of event. I'm glad I was finally able to get up close and personal with this place. Watching that HUGE lion mural for 30+ years was intriguing! Plus Eastern Market just down street.

Cool spot. Went for the Hightimes event. Parking was limited but along the street there was plenty. Felt safe with police presence. The Russell is right off the frwy and on the corner so getting dropped off on a Uber is convenient and is not to far from Greek Town, where we stayed at MGM. Will definitely be back. Hope this review helps someone.
