It's a hell of a hill but the view over Milford is nice. Be prepared! There are 2 ways to tackle the hill. If you go left at the one intersection you enter into a switch back. It's still steep but it's more manageable. If you stay right at that same intersection it'll take you directly up the hill. It's much shorter but it's a steep, seemingly never ending hill, despite the fact you can see the top from the bottom. I like the challenge and hate switchbacks so I opt for the direct route everytime. Always regret it half way up, instantly don't regret it once...

Passing through after an hour drive and on a previous trip a park ranger said the trail was only 3 miles long. 1.5 hours later we reached the Raymondskill falls. The walk was nice but it was definitely longer than 3 miles. We passed three outlook posts. We passed a family pushing a stroller. Thankfully the shuttle was available so we took that...

This is one of those places you don’t want to review because you don’t want more people ruining it. Great hiking trail. Get there early as the lot fills up as the day goes on. Challenging hike with pretty view of Milford and Delaware River. Nice elevation change. Hiked the loop clockwise, worked out great. Most of the snow and ice were melted, especially, surprisingly on the higher elevations, but hiking poles still came in handy.

Great hike, leads to nice view of Milford. Pretty easy until the last 1/4 mile when it gets STEEP. Until then, mostly shaded and well maintained trail. Mild incline. Approx 1 mile up, 1 mile back. I don’t recommend flip flops. Wear something with more grip that won’t get soaked by your sweat.
