Absolutely Terrible Experience? Avoid at All Costs! I recently visited this place, hoping for a pleasant experience picking fresh strawberries and perhaps trying some of their baked goods. Instead, I was met with an incredibly unwelcoming and frankly, hostile attitude from the staff. My initial interaction was simply to inquire about purchasing a box for picking. What followed was an unbelievable barrage of seemingly arbitrary and excessive rules, delivered with a condescending and unpleasant tone. It felt like I was being interrogated rather than welcomed as a potential customer. The absolute worst part of this ridiculous rulebook was something the staff member said regarding the strawberries themselves. I was informed, with a serious and threatening demeanor, that if you pick a strawberry and don't place it in your designated basket, you would be fined a staggering $100! Let me repeat that: one hundred dollars for a single strawberry that doesn't make it into your basket. This isn't about ensuring people pay for what they pick; this is about creating an environment of fear and intimidation. It completely takes the joy out of what should be a fun and simple activity. The entire experience left me feeling unwelcome, stressed, and frankly, insulted. The staff seemed more interested in enforcing their bizarre and punitive rules than in providing any semblance of customer service. I wholeheartedly and without reservation recommend that you DO NOT visit. There are undoubtedly other farms in the area that will treat you with respect and allow you to enjoy strawberry picking without the threat of exorbitant fines for minor mishaps. Save your time, money, and sanity – go...
Read moreCame here on a Thursday with some family and friends hoping to have some fun picking strawberries. They have strict rules against water bottles and tasting strawberries. Right off the bat, the person behind the counter told us we had 5 adults, and therefore were required to pick 4 or more pounds. We only had 4 adults (who came separately), and the rude attitude threw us off immediately. We were more than willing to pick 4 or more pounds of strawberries but the customer service led us to only purchasing two boxes. And yes! Each box is $0.50 and have to be purchased before you go in to pick the strawberries. If you're hoping to have a fun afternoon, I'd suggest waiting until Friday, Saturday, or Sunday to head to a neighboring strawberry farm (there are plenty!) who have much nicer folks who actually want you to pick strawberries, don't require minimum pounds, allow you to taste, and don't...
Read morePretty busy when we arrived at 10:30am on a Sunday morning. There were plenty of people out picking but there were so many strawberries out there. Minimum 2lb. Per person which seems like a lot but once you’ve picked them, it really isn’t that much. We found the best strawberries near the back of the field. Only downside was that there were some muddy aisles that were quite slippery. Make sure to wear shoes you don’t mind getting muddy in. Since this has no shade I recommend coming early in the morning to avoid the afternoon heat. Also, bring some shallow small trays so you don’t have to pay for a container and a cooler with ice to hold the strawberries if you plant on being out in Brentwood for the day. This was so much fun that we’d...
