we go to this place a few times a year especially when we were visiting Hilton park because it's only probably about 5 miles from Hilton Park this place used to originally be the Tuttle Farm which was the oldest family farm in the entire country and one of the tuttle kids decided to build this wonderful farmers market area the only problem was is the ended up way over-extending themselves financially and kind of bankrupted themselves and a group of people bought it and they converted it renamed at tendercrop Farm it overall it's very good place to go they've got done in the summer time with you can pick raspberries blueberries that sort of thing they're fresh apples and peaches will be coming in pretty soon especially the peaches those should start coming in within the next few weeks but they've got great soups there they were they make some good soups and they make these absolutely totally awesome baked beans cuz I say by him and torture your friends but overall it be outside the beans are some of the best I've ever had they really a really good hopefully it's their own and not North country smoke bean side which is a possibility cuz they taste pretty very similar but that's fine are you I could care less because I don't mind buying a good mess of them there and bringing them home they've got their own meats they basically prepare their own steak pork they do their own bacon so I will definitely buy some of their own product they are they do some really good Frozen pies they've got like a pork pie which is just absolutely stellar they're chicken pies and turkey pies a very good if I would give him anything on that I would say do a little more seasoning on the pies at times the flavor tends to be a little bit bland on the chicken and turkey pies definitely could put a little bit more fresh vegetables in there and I know they don't use frozen vegetables that use their own because I mean obviously you can you can tell the difference immediately but put a little bit more in there and if you have to jack up the price a little bit because of that hey I'm fine with that I'm always willing to pay good money for good quality but it's a nice place to go they have also a very good flower section there as well to so you can always get some nice potted flowers and they have like a small how would I say kind of like a small animal section kind of like a petting zoo sort of thing depends on the weather as if it's really really hot the animals would really be indoors but you know you got like a small goats and some of the sheep and they've got some ducks and chickens to the standard kind of stuff it's kind of cute for the kids who come from the big cities who've never seen the wildlife such as it is but overall it's a nice place to spend an hour or two cuz they do have a lot of good stuff to pick up in that...

So first off the store is fantastic. I love being able to go to the farm and buy fresh produce. However... The Corn Maze.... That was a terrible let down. We went inside the store at around 5:40-6 to ask about the maze because it was advertised to be open till 7pm. The cashier said that it was open and that it would be $11 per person. We paid the fee and that was all the instruction that was given. I had to ask them where the corn maze was and only when I was walking out the door did I see that there was a map of the maze. So my husband and I walked out to the the maze that we initially saw. We walked through it and was disappointed at how small it was. We then realize that was the children's maze and was confused as to where the adult on was. We then spotted a huge corn field through the woods on the other side of the river. There was no sign pointing to the corn field but we guessed that was where the real maze was. So we made our way over there but could not find the opening. We walked the outside till we could find what we thought was an opening. We eventually made it into the maze. The entire place was deserted and we were the only ones there. We wandered around the maze for a bit until we found our way out. We then had found a trail through the woods that lead us to a bridge that brought us to the real opening of the maze. Once we found the correct entrance we really had a great time. As we headed to our vehicle around 6:30 the entire store and parking lot was deserted. In short, please put sings up directing people to the entrance, take time to explain the maze, hand have people out there when you are open so that your customers don't feel deserted...

So the group that I was with is a group of people in recovery, people who show up with dignity and respect and integrity every day, the guy who set this up Freddy at I got bridged called days prior to this trip we were all gonna go to the corn maze and fellowship after church, so we get here he introduces himself, mind you this man is blind, god bless him. He talked to one of the staff and they said okay yup your good, he had asked for this to be a donation, to the people of Dover and the surrounding areas, who fight for thier life every day mind you this areas is where this place makes all there money right well after the one staff had said we’re good we were all getting ready to go, this other lady came out, the one dragging the trash bags away from us comes rushing out and tells Freddy that there is no donation or even discount even tho he called he was told wrong she said, I conseder myself a good judge of character and she was straight up ride, bobbing her hear all around and being super over the top.. you would think she would at least give us a break. Even if someone did give us wrong information about the donation. You would think since we took our time getting over here and brought about 20 people She would at least have the decency to cut us a break on the price. But she bobbed her head In charge of these people and then proceeded to flat rate about five times to a blind...

What has happened to this place!!! Rotten chicken, never ever buy here. Moldy butter, not sure how that happens and rotten smelly parmesan cheese. Make sure you give your eggs a float test as well got them bad here too. I live a mile from there and it’s extremely dissatisfied and disgusted with the quality of product that comes out of there. To date have returned ~$500 worth of items taking time away from family and tossed meals. GET WITH IT!!!! Oh just forgot I didn’t know that smoked garlic loaf was a thing. Yes folks that below is actually butter.

For those who truly want to eat food that is grown close to home, Tendercrop is the place. They have an amazing abundance of local produce with so many choices. They also raise their own animals so for you meat eaters out there, the choices of home grown grass fed pork, chicken and beef products is pretty significant. This is where you can get bones for stock or meat for your dogs or unique cuts. Don’t pass up their eggs!!! Or Theo baked products made right on site. A must visit in both Dover, NH or Newbury MA
