It’s unfortunate since this is conveniently located, that I’ve now had two poor experiences solidifying that I won’t shop here again.
First time, there was a weird mislabeling price error, and following experience .. and it ended up being way overpriced compared to other convenience stores.
I gave it a 2nd chance. When I walked into the beer cave, I guess by the employee’s standard I took to long because they came in and awkwardly stood and stared at me. I asked if everything was okay, they asked me what I was doing while I was in the middle of taking a picture of the different ciders for a friend to choose from. Which I told them.
The employee told me I couldn’t be in there as long as I had and to look at the drinks from the outside. I was a bit confused, the door was marked “beer cave” with no posting of “do not enter” or anything like that.
The employee first told me it wasn’t “good for me to be in the cold that long” ….. later when I checked out they apologized and I told him that “yeah that was weird - never have experienced that at a beer cave” he told me it was bad for the cooler for me to inside. Read moreThey have a 5 dollar minimum for credit cards which I have been rudely reminded of in the past. Today they refused to break a $20 dollar bill for a 2 dollar purchase. Unfortunately, I did not have any smaller bills and I was forced to leave with out my drinks.
