Capricorn Manor — Attraction in Drain

I visited this antique store with a bakery inside and left with a three-star take. The antique section is filled with eclectic Gothic items—skull paintings and unique jewelry that aren’t my style. I didn’t quite connect with the aesthetic, but I enjoyed browsing and soaking it in. The staff was friendly, letting me explore at my own pace. The bakery, however, was a letdown. It’s supposed to open at noon, but by 12:30, no pastries were out, and we had to leave without trying anything. What a friendly, fun & interesting place to shop! Absolutely loved the house and the garden is lush, so full of many flowers and trees. The owner is very knowledgeable about all of her plants. She has homemade jelly for sale as well as baby blackberry bushes. I got currant jelly from berries she grows. The inside is full of antiques and so many unique vintage items.
