The DuBois Museum offered a tour of the Torrey Lake Petroglyphs that was wonderful! Our guide, Seth, provided a nice overview of the Indigeonous people (Sheep Eaters/Shoshoni) and their culture at the museum before we headed out. He took us to petroglyohs we would not have found ourselves, as well as to some particularly interesting petroglyohs on Pine Lake Ranch, which are private and not accessible without a DuBois Museum tour guide. The tour was $85 per person and well worth it! Seth took his time to provide interpretation and did not rush us as we went from site to site. Seth drove his truck and we followed in our vehicle. Note that some of the parking spots along the way are small and we dropped our teardrop camper at the Museum before heading out on the tour--large RVs may have a difficult time parking at some of the pullouts. We are very glad that we scheduled the tour ahead of time (day before, but may need to schedule further out during peak summer times). Thank you, DuBois Museum!

Interesting little museum in Dubois. It was very small, but it had some information about the region and a large exhibition of regional stuffed animals. The native art was also good. Additionally, you could walk around outside and see little houses with exhibitions of the old times.

Lots to see and learn here about the local land and culture. So much history in one lot from the early pioneers to native American culture. Unique and interesting articles and great for kids because they have item to touch and hold. Tons of rare taxidermy animals and prints of the local petroglyphs. Also a great place to get information on what to see around town and learn a little history at...
