We stayed for 3 days in DuBois and this dog park was a nice resource for our dog.
Ball is life for our golden and this dog park is great for that. It has a small hill in the middle that creates an upper terrace area. It was a lot of fun for her to chase the ball up the hill.
There are at least 2 benches for the humans to rest on. One of them is at the top of the hill with a nice view of the valley.
There were 2 buckets full of water for the dogs to drink. There was also a dog poop bag station and a trash container. The lower area has some play equipment as well.

Read moreThis was such a pleasant surprise! We were on our way home after a week-long roadtrip with our 18-mo-old rescue dog. Although we stopped to let her out as often as we could, that was usually at gas stations and rest stops. When we saw the sign for a dog park in Dubois, we knew it was worth turning around to investigate. Boy are we glad we did! The park is secure, clean, and well-maintained. Our pup loved running and jumping over sage brush, climbing the hill, and chasing her ball. It was much appreciated by all of us, and we'll definitely be back for a visit next time we pass...

This was my first time traveling with my 4yr old coonhound and 4 month old beagle/lab mix. They had both traveled for the better part of 2 days with no problems at all, so it was amazing to be able to reward them with this park. It was the first time in 2 days they were able to run freely as we were coming from the midwest. We were all hesitant, but a quick check of the boundaries and you can see this park is very well maintained!
