This place has wonderful trails through tons of trees and two large gated areas for dogs of smaller or bigger sizes to run and play off leash. There’s also tons of benches and trashcans along the trails. If you want to bring a group of people or even just have a small lunch yourself, there’s a big covered picnic table area near one of the entrances, and also several little groups of uncovered picnic tables along the trails as well as a swinging bench every now and then. It’s a really well kept area. Most people pickup after their animals, but if there is a spot I can’t blame the park for that. There’s also a lot of wildlife like deer, squirrels, birds, etc. I have seen a snake but it was sleeping on a rock under a bridge by the water. It was non-venomous and far enough away to never be scared by it. My bf and I bring our dogs here a ton, and we always bring family whenever we can because we just...
Read moreGood size large dog park. They have taken an interesting approach by introducing twists and turns in the area which introduces an illusion of having more than one area within the large dog area. This setup is good as dogs are separated from each other by not having all the dogs within their line of sight. Helps to keep dogs from getting excited by other dogs running around.

Water is available only near the entrance, trash is available only in a couple of spots in a rather big play area. No poop bags are...
Read moreThis is my favorite park in the Duluth area. Miles of paved walking trails, dirt trails, a fantastic dog park, picnic areas, children's play area, rest rooms, water fountains and a working farm. So much to do and it's all free. Access dog park, play area and a few trails from the Hwy 120 entrance; other activities are closer to the Old Norcross entrance. Entrances are hard to locate so use GPS if it's your first time going. Both sides are linked by three trail system, but it's easy to get lost and my dog was exhausted by the time we found the dog park. I recommend using the closest entrance to the activity you want until you...
