The park was easy access, but it is not very scenic. As well, you need a discover pass to park there. We did not know that until we were there and there is no place to pay for one. So, we just had to risk it. Also, Google navigater is a littler off on the location. The park is actually on the east side of the river, just a little further south than the map says.

Read moreThe key to enjoying this place is to not take yourself too seriously, and be courteous with others. If you see other people in the parking lot chat with them to avoid conflicts in the field. As one of the few pheasant release sites and dog training areas in the Seattle area, there are a ton of people hunting it every day of the season. Some folks use it to take kids out, others to get puppies some bird contacts, others just to get the dog some exercise. Most people you see here are friendly and cordial.
