The new Mitchell Creek Meadows has 225 acres with a .75 mile trail system with two sections of universal access trail connected by a mowed grass trail. Trails are well marked and have information boards posted along the way. Of special interest is the Bald Eagle nest observation deck. This nature preserve was once a golf course and has been overrun with invasive autumn olive which is slowly being removed by GTRLC. This is a very nice park for a short, close to town hike and is good for birdwatching too. No facilities. Dogs must be on leash....
