This park has something for everyone. It has the best playground equipment of any local park. It has an area for younger children, for older children, swings for disabled children all on top of a very forgiving rubber surface. They akso have a sand play area that is surrounded by artificial turf. The park has tennis, pickleball and basketball courts, softball, baseball and soccer fields and sand Volleyball. It has bathrooms, picnic pavilions, benches and a paved trail that is nearly a mile long loop with a fitness circuit. No biking or rollerblading is permitted on the East Goshen Park trail. The park hosts a farmer's market on Thursday afternoons. The park connects to the Applebrook park right across Paoli Pike. There is a crosswalk with warning light for cars. Applebrook has three miles of paved trail that can be used by walkers runners, bikers and rollerblading. On the eastern point of Applebrook park is a forest restoration project that is wonderful. Read morePlayground was just re opened after being renovated. There is a nice shaded parents area in the center of the play ground so it is easy to watch your little ones play. The entire play area has been covered in a rubber surface that is softer to fall on. There is a large sandbox with diggers and a hidden dinosaur fossil to discover. Two large and unique play structures are available for different age groups. A modern merry go round, baby & me swing, standard swings, and accessible swings are arranged around the play area. Read moreLove the park. Good for running / jogging / walking. This is a gigantic community park. Lots of options for playing games - baseball, soccer, tennis, volleyball etc. I run here mostly in the mornings. It is less crowded in the morning compared to the evenings. There are playing area for kids as well.
If you like to support local farmers then you should visit the park in the evening. You will find stalls setup in the evening. Buy vegetables, fruits, honey and other local produce. I believe the stalls are setup only on Thursdays.
