I visited here a year ago or so for lunch, but ended up eating from WAWA . Why? People don’t like change and that includes businesses. Also people don’t seem to grasp you’re not just ordering food, your ordering convenience.
I went to pay for my order and they said they only accept cash. Taken back for a moment lost in the times of Payphones and Mac Machines I wondered if I could find a pay phone, or a mac machine. What about a pay phone adjacent to a mac machine? In fact when is the last time I used physical cash? Ten years? Fifteen?
To order a meal here you have a mission if you choose to accept it. Find a Mac machine. If you successful with your quest you may now barter with us. Others that fail are not welcome. For our ancestors woke up before dawn, feed the horses oats, nailed on the horse shoes, connected them to the buggy, held the oiled straps firmly in hand while staring at a horses arse for our slow trek to the great beyond at ludicrous speed (at the time).
But you the customer just want us to give you a sandwich after just a few seconds to swipe a plastic card? No sonny boy you’re going to have to work for it! Your fancy money is no good...

When they are on their game, they have some of the best cheesesteaks around, and THE best buffalo chicken cheesesteak I’ve ever had.
However, when it’s bad, it’s really bad. I recently got a cheesesteak with whiz, cheese fries, and a chocolate shake. The steak was a soggy, sloppy mess with burnt onions. The fries were over cooked and dry with cheese sauce that had turned a very dark orange bordering on brown, and the shake was watery with chunks of what tasted like ice floating in it. I actually had to spit out a mouthful of fries because I couldn’t stand chewing them any longer.
Despite this bad experience, I’ll probably go back eventually, maybe on a busier night with a hopefully better kitchen staff. When it’s good, it’s really good. They just need to work on...

Every time I order I usually always get a buff chicken cheesesteak which is very good, but the meat inconsistency is horrible. Sometimes my sandwiches will legit look like peg legs(and I'm not even kidding haha) than sometimes it will be a half a cheesesteak. And it's also over 10 dollars which is a price of a top dollar cheesesteak anywhere in Philly. If your gonna be charging that price you better be serving huge consistent sandwiches, not a small ass cheesesteak that I end up having to eat something afterwards. I'm only ranting about this because of how bad my experience went tonight. Clean your place up and maybe actually have a real manager to make sure everything is ran...
