This park is really beautifully maintained with clear markings of where the trails are and lots of picnic tables all over the place. Most of the trails are easy to moderate but, there are some difficult hills. This is a great park to go hiking if you are recovering from some form of injury. My only issue with this park is the fact that it is easy to miss the entrance to the parking lot since there is no Main...

Great place for a walk in the woods to see the Connecticut River and nice views. Also, walking on one of the trails we found a bunch of old metal debris, part of it looks like a plane, see my pics for details. Also there is plenty of parking here and it is easy to get to. Next door, it is not well advertised, but there is another state park that also goes down to the...

A nicely maintained state park. Very spacious trails and clearing great too. Plenty of tables to have a picnic, or just sit and rest if you need it. A beautiful place to stop and check out. I enjoyed the trails, some parts required climbing if you took the upper signage, I did appreciate the signs they were well marked especially for a first...

This park is really beautifully maintained with clear markings of where the trails are and lots of picnic tables all over the place. Most of the trails are easy to moderate but, there are some difficult hills. This is a great park to go hiking if you are recovering from some form of injury. My only issue with this park is the fact that it is easy to miss the entrance to the parking lot since there is no Main Entrance sign.
