The Hanover Manor — Attraction in East Hanover

I recently had my wedding there on July 13, 2024. There aren't enough words to describe how magical and amazing this place is. Angelo, Steve and John and along with all the servers are simply amazing, professional, and kind hearted people who truly wants your event to be flawless. Angelo made the whole planning process so easy for us and the way he treated my daughter and son just warmed my heart....he gave crayons and paper to my daughter and also shared his candy stash with her lol. Steve is hands down one of the best matrie D that anyone can ask for....he made sure everything ran smoothly and on time, he is very accommodating when I brought in my decorations, he set up all my decorations with pleasure and made the room look 50 times better than I envisioned. John is also a wonderful person to work with, he answered any questions I had, took good care of my bridal party when we got there a little early, made sure everyone was comfortable, John made sure I had a flawless wedding. The servers were simply amazing and attentive, the made sure everyone was happy with their food and drinks. One server noticed I was being pulled all over the place and she kept checking in on me to make sure if I had something to eat or drink, and during dessert time, as I was trying to get a cappuccino my photographer called me for pictures and I made a comment, damn I really wanted a cappuccino lol...well the server must have heard me because when I went back to the table after pictures, she brought me a cappuccino, I truly appreciate what she did. The Hanover Manor is truly a hidden gem and I am extremely appreciative how everyone made my wedding so special. Thank you Angelo, Steve, John and all the servers, I truly felt like I was part of the Hanover Manor family by the way how everyone took good care of us. This was our first time attending an event recently at this facility. Definitely average and needs some work. We get there and the valet thought he gave us the ticket. He was trying to say he gave it to my brother in law then realized he didn’t give us one. They definitely are not very organized and seem to have trouble keeping up with the volume during parking. We walked in and they didn’t have a sign for the event we were attending. There were signs for the other events so we were looking around before realizing where we were supposed to be. A positive was the venue itself was well decorated and tastefully done despite it being obvious it is very old. When they served us the salad it was dry and I had almost no dressing on it. They even took my mother-in-laws salad away before she even had a chance to eat it. (Although she wasn’t missing much) They never even asked anyone at our table if she was finished. I was not physically at the table during this but there were other people who were and they said when we came back that not one server asked them if people who weren’t physically there at the table in that moment were done with food. Which brings me to the main courses. They were not very good. Bland, dry chicken and most of the food looked almost like they were store bought and just quickly reheated not fresh at all. I took two bites of a chicken dish and said nope no more. Lastly the bathroom in our area was not maintained at all. There was no soap or toilet paper refilled. We had to use another one upstairs near another event taking place. This was even after telling a staff member it needed refreshing. This was not our personal event but if it had been I would have been disappointed in the way the above mentioned went. We did enjoy the event itself but this venue has some kinks to work...

We recently celebrated our engagement at Hanover Manor, and we couldn't have chosen a better venue. From start to finish, John, Steve, and Angelo were an absolute blessing to work with. They accommodated all of our requests with so much patience and grace, allowing us to customize the menu, iterate on table arrangements multiple times, and even use flower names instead of table numbers. Their willingness to welcome all our calls, meetings, and requests made the planning process smooth and enjoyable.

Throughout the entire planning process, John, Steve, and Angelo guided us, ensuring that everything would be perfect on the day of our event. Their attention to detail and dedication to our vision exceeded our expectations in every way.

The Italian food provided by the venue was phenomenal. Since this was an indian event with mostly vegetarian guests, we were thrilled with the diverse and delicious options available. The team even went the extra mile to customize some of their non-vegetarian dishes to be vegetarian, and the results were outstanding. Our custom cake was exactly what we had envisioned, and our guests couldn't stop raving about the food and the cake.

The venue itself is clean, classy, and exudes unmatched elegance. The Crystal Room is absolutely gorgeous and spacious, with the sunlight and garden view from the atrium creating a magical atmosphere reminiscent of a banquet hall straight out of Bridgerton. We loved that we were able to pick out the color of the lighting, fresh-cut flowers, tablecloth, and napkins. And the price for everything included – food, gratuity, centerpieces, and cake – was unbeatable.
