One of my go-tos in the neighborhood, the Ten Mile River Greenway is a great walking trail. The path is clear and cemented, with an occasional biker every now and then. But you’re encouraged to walk on one side of the road. Not really great for groups, but perfect for a solo or couple walk through nature. Halfway through the path, there’s a rest area with parking and picnic tables. Which makes it perfect for a lunch break or a run. The only downside is it’s undergoing construction on the side of the path near the entrance, and there’s big ugly neon fencing there which ruins the view for the first 5 minutes, but other than that it’s beautiful. You’ll see all kinds of ducks, swans, frogs and more at the many river views...
Read moreIts a nice bike path. There's a couple places where you can go off the path for mountain biking. The bike path is 3 miles one way. It makes for a good afternoon walk or even a morning run would be nice! Just make sure if you're walking/running you're on the left side and if you're cycling/skating you're on the right side. Also there's no restroom but there are porta potties. If you start at one end they're about in the middle (before the 2 mile mark) at this open park area. Read moreThis bike path/walking path is luah with green trees and wild life. Dont worry none are dangerous. The length of the path its self i think is about 5 miles total but i could be wromg. It starts in Rumford at the Kimberly Rock complex and ends almost on the Pawtucket Attleboro line. The path is good for all sorts of people parents with kids as well as adults. In the summer there are lot if bugs but that shouldnt stop you from enjoying the path. There are always beautiful swans and ducks in the water. And there are squirels and chipmunks...
