This is a beautiful area with hiking trails. It's easy hiking but might not be ideal for those with physical disabilities or problems ambulating as it is not a very developed path through the woods. It's not paved. And it's not wide and flat. Plenty of parking. We were there to help search for a missing woman. We did not find her. Natchaug River has good fishing spots, and there are multiple historic CCC buildings along Kingsbury Road. General Lyon picnic area is quiet and beautiful. Also has pit toilets.
