I cannot say enough positive things about this campground. My family and I stayed here for two months while I was in Hartford for work, I we will surely be back the next time I am in CT. The staff are amazingly kind and responsive to any and every need. We stayed in one of the rental cabins and the only issue we had was the water not heating up one day. We immediately had 2 members of staff on site and the problem was fixed in 10 minutes. The cabins are kept in pristine condition. Seriously, their cleaning staff are insane level cleaners. The cabins look and smell like they are brand new. My family has severe allergies and not once did anyone have an issue while staying here. The common use facilities are just as well kept. The laundry, public restrooms and playground are impeccable. Small and quiet, its a perfectly relaxing setting. I have been staying in campgrounds my entire life and I can’t recommend this...
Read moreThis is really a campground so when it talks about rooms we mean the RV site. This a unique place in that there are sites around 3 or 4 pavillions that are covered and have a fire place in the middle so you can have a fire even if there is rain. So about 10 rigs are around each pavilion plus many more sites in the campground. IT is family owned so very attentive to the needs of the campers. Groups can gather and have meals together and a fire together. WE meet with a group annually and have for about 15 or more years here so that should tell you how much we love this campground. The owners turn themselves inside out to help you if you need assistance. There is a river that runs along the campground and some go fishing there, not sure if you have to throw back in or can keep. IT is sort of in the middle of CT and not much around so quiet yet in 20 minutes you can be on RT 84, a few minutes and...

My 3 year old was as second from being killed, my 7 year old was far enough away and safe.the owner couldn't even ask if anyone was ok, he just said his insurancecn company said it was an act of God. It was a sunny day with no wind. The seasonal people there said the tree was bad, and they saw it fall. He wouldnt even refund our money for the 4 days. He also lied to the press about all the trees being inspected twice a year. The tree was rotted for a long time. When my RV compy as my picked up my totaled trailer, he told me a birch tree fell on someone stones truck.. if you value your family and your camper,...
