Lake-Geauga Habitat for Humanity ReStore — Attraction in Eastlake

I used to love this place, but no so much anymore. They don't care about there "phone customers" at all. When you try to call them for over 30 mins straight and not a single person answers the phone and the reason you get on Facebook is, "we are busy and we can't immediately get to the phone" would mean that yes, someone can get the call in a few mins or so but when you try calling for over 30 mins and even let it ring for 8 mins with still no answer? Volunteers or not, there are people who work there who are in charge and there is no reason why a single phone call should not be answered and definetly no reason why no one can answer the...

Loaded my truck with newer kitchen cabinets, some still in the box. Took them to Habitat in North Randall. The staff refused my donations. They said they were full. And could not direct me to another location. From now on I will take my donations to Geauga county habitat. This is the second bad experience I have had with this location. The first one was a donation of tools from my father's house. I was sitting in my truck in the parking lot when one of the employees that took my donation walked out the back door with the box of tools I just donated. And put them in his car. It's usually crazy busy and their prices are fair market value as checked by ebay. However it's rare that you'll find any amazing deals there.

Staff is friendly and helpful.

Parking is awful but if I go I stop late afternoon, perhaps other times are better.

It's still worth checking out from time to time. Turn over of items seems to be good, so it's never the same place twice

One other note, while I stated I felt the prices weren't fantastic, they do actively mark items down if they have been there for awhile.
