Zora Neale Hurston National Museum of Fine Arts — Attraction in Eatonville

I got to meet Shirley, the museum guide, and she was a phenomenal source of knowledge about Zora as well as the artist whose work is on display this year. I also bought the book by NY Nathiri and she was on campus and willing to sign the copy for me. Although the facility is small, the map for exploring the significant Eatonville landmarks was very helpful and everything on the map Is within and easy walking distance, and it’s also quick and easy to drive as well. This was my first opportunity to visit Zora Neale Hurston Festival and what a treat it was for me! There were numerous vendors that offered a variety of Art, TaylorMade one of a kind dresses, Greek paraphernalia, fresh made body butters infused with essential oils, unique purses, and much much more! The entrance fee was reasonable and so was the parking. Pricing on products sold was also reasonable. It was a relaxing day in a friendly setting. The lady was so kind. I was babysitting and decided to take her down to this festival in Eatonville. I fell in love with this town the first time I drove through it, not even knowing all the history.
