Temple was good when it was new. Unfortunately with the growing popularity and entering South Indian pandits this place has become yet another money minting business rather than a place of worship. Had a very very bad experience there with my kid when my toddler on special needs started running in the temple. We are very mindful when we go such places. We choose time slot when no one or very less people were there. Only 1 person was there to be specific. The South Indian new pandits behaved very rude and angry on my kid. Started scolding and cursing. I want that pandits to understand he lost his position as a pandits or a good person the moment he did bad behavior with a small child. Looks like easy visa pulled him in this job but he don't understand the true essence of being a pandits or devotee. Shame on you pandits ji. May Lord Krishna give you wisdom. Can't see reply option so editing here. The moment gates were closed we left we did not stayed a minute more. But unfortunately due to being on spectrum my son runs so from out side door he ran inside again. While coming to a foreign land temple management should know about certain things. It's not Indian temple where they apply carrot and stick method. The child was a toddler and my elder one and husband ran to get hold of him. I'm very deeply hurt how that pandit picked up my kid and scolded . Actually he was shouting more then any body else. Sir do not touch my child. Hopefully you are new and don't know you can not lay your hands on any kid. Thank you. Read spiritual books properly ..you need more wisdom and character to...
Read moreI and family are regular Iskcon visitors in India. But there is no temple close to my place here in Maryland/Delaware. One day on a snow storm day in December 2017, I was frantically looking online to go to some temple in Edison close to IGO grocery. And I was ready to drive back to Maryland disheartened, when I saw this small flyer in the IGO parking lot saying -New RadhaGopinath temple just 2mins drive from there. Knowing that Krishna answered my prayers, I excitedly drove to the temple. Right from outside as I was walking in, I began to have a feeling within me, as if something beautiful was about to happen. And surely it did. The most beautiful thing that has happened to me, is, this temple. After having the darshan of Radha Krishna there, listening to their ecstatic Kīrtan and taking the Prasadam there, I just went mad! Seriously.
Even to this day it feels as if RadhaGopinath temple just manifested miraculously for me that day. And I drive there all the way from Maryland just to get a glimpse of...
Read moreMy family and I went to the Shri Radha Gopinath temple on Janmashtami to pray and celebrate Shri Krishna janma. While we were still praying with my 2 kids, the priest asked us to leave if we did not pay for any services. First of all we were not aware to pay for any service to be able to stay in the temple and secondly I have never been asked before in any temple to leave if I did not pay $51 to pray or toward any service. And yes my kids were well behaved with no issues or problems but to ask devotees to leave unless pay for anything is my first experience of any temple. Temples are to pray and connect with God and to make donations out of devotion not to pay for any...
