Started hiking up here when I was about 10 years old with my family back in the mid 1960's. Been back many times since and always memorable. Incredible view of the Bay Area, Golden Gate Bridge and a very clear days the Farallon Islands! Bring lunch or snack and certainly some water especially on hotter summer days. You'll see Red Tailed Hawks and Turkey Vultures soaring above and maybe the occasional deer. On the east side you'll see San Pablo Dam Reservoir and the expanse to Briones Park. Stop by The Little Farm and feed the pigs and make a day of it, enjoy!

360 Panoramic views of the north and east bay. Relatively easy switchback trail hike with some steep terrain towards the top. Don't pass on this little gem. There's a small peace memorial awaiting you're arrival way the top.

Stunishing hike with an amazing view over the bay and San Francisco. Hike is easy, and the paths are well made. Signs to follow the hike. Sometimes they were a bit confusing. Google maps helped to find the proper path

Donot trust google map after sunset( or not recommended in late afternoon) as some path will be closed but will be shown available on map. I had Att , still lost coverage on GPS esp as light was fading after sunset. Distance is much steeper at the top so yes google time estimate is correct as one might/ will take frequent break...

POISON IVY WARNING

Like what everyone says, the views are great on a clear day! Most of the paths don’t allow people to walk side by side. You’re walking in a single file line and poison ivy is just leaning into the path so it would be very easy to get it on your hands, legs and feet.

Just know to wear long...
