I didn't want to give a star at all. I convinced my mom to take a day off work (at the hospital) and since I am home schooled it would a great opportunity to do a roadtrip. So that being said we planned an fun educational event. We left our house in Sc, headed to Ga, our first stop was by accident in at the Lake Heartwell Dam. It was beautiful, from there we went, headed to the Ga. Guide stone, it was beautifully done loved the history of it. Seeing the work and reading the sculpture. We next headed to the museum, we checked the website, watched the short story video, planned accordingly to arrive on time so we could get the full effect. I was so excited. But got let down, I feel guilty, mom lost a day of pay, it cost her a tank and half of gas, plus a hotel room. So you can tell us you are closed for some class. Why did you not post it on your website, letting potential visitors know so they didn't waste their money on a trip. I now have no intrest in visiting. And just a few words of advice from a child to a company. Use the manners you were taught., dont just apologize after someone drove over 4 hours to visit.
