Awesome park with a well maintained paved walking trail. It has a great swimming beach with a nice restroom. It's great at dusk as deer were out on the path. There was also a muskrat in the lake. The campground was under construction but should be nice when open again.

A nice size state park close to town with a small lake for fishing, a beach with swimming, kayaking, trolling motors on the water and bird watching, plus a campground, a paved trail around the lake and into 2 neighboring towns, golf course and rental cabins.

Circle Point Shelter is a lovely spot overlooking the lake with just quiet except for the music of the birds. Six picnic tables and two benches to relax on and enjoy the views. A big grill is available to use to feed a large group.
