This park is one of my favorite places to go to. It's so beautiful with all the flowers along the sidewalks. It has a restroom. There's so many gazebos, so It's a great place for family reunions, baby showers, graduations.. all kind of events! The walking/biking trail is amazing! I recently took my son on the trail and saw a deer walking around between the trail and the river, and several people were kayaking. It's filled with squirrels they're everywhere! This park also has a really nice pool, and every year they host a fireworks festival for fourth of July. There's food vendors and people can shop around at the craft booths. Ewing park is always active. It has grills near the gazebos and swings. I think the wooden playground makes Ewing Park what it is. I've never seen any other park like this one. The playground is large and unique because theres many little hiding spots.. Im 34 and I still play around in it! My family hosted reunions here since I was born. We had one every year and since covid, my family hasn't had one. Very depressing. But this park will always be an enjoyable...
Read moreThis is a clean and beutiful park with just about everything imaginable for people to enjoy from all ages. There's a huge fenced in swimming pool and separate baby pool open during the summer for only around $4 per person for admission. Close to the pool is a humongous kids playground with wooden castles and just about everything g imaginable, even including a separate small playground are just for younger kids. Right on the other side of the pool area is several sand volleyball courts, and across the street is a newer skate park and a few basketball courts. Also, there are some baseball fields, tennis courts, walking trails, and many nice pavilion areas for family parties and reunions. Also, each year a craft festival is held at the park with various vendors and live music. This is definitely one of my favorite places to go with my son to spend an...
Read moreCould be a great Park. The shelters are built beautifully. Unfortunately, we were sitting at a shelter with my 75 year old father who uses a walker and his brother. Two Ellwood City police officers come by during and occupy the shelter with us. They cast a cloud of intimidation and there was an uncomfortable silence. So my father says politely " how's it going today fellows?" The officer responds"Cambio, also the first one to open his big mouth ".😥 The officers tone was hateful, confrontational, and negative to say the least. Completely unprovoked . It left us all embarrassed and uncomfortable for my father. Mind you he is 75 years old in a walker trying to enjoy the remainder of his years at a beautiful park...
