Watertown Dog Park — Attraction in Elmira Township

We take Piper our Whippet here on a weekly basis. She she loves coming here and being with other dogs, they have water access and poop bags available most times. There are two separate areas for the larger dogs and smaller dogs, and most people are considerate of other dog owners. There are certain times when there are negligent owners, but it could be a lot worse. Compared to other towns where they have dog parks, we are fortunate to have as big of one as we do. The small dog area is just an open area. Our dogs have been able to escape several areas in the fence and gate. Depending on your dog's size I wouldn't recommend letting them just explore on their own or stepping away from the large gap in the gate that would allow them to possibly get into the large dog area. We go to the dog park frequently. It's maintained well and provides ample room for dogs to run and play.

The best thing about the dog park is the people who go there...and their dogs.

Everyone is very socialable and, if you and your dog are friendly and you pick up after your pet, you are easily welcomed...
