When planning our fall trip this was exactly what I had pictured in my mind. A beautiful lake with colorful foliage. We passed the park entrance and ended up pulling right up infront of the lake which turned out to be the perfect spot and better view from the park entrance we took later. Such a heavenly place. Could stay here all day long embracing those beautiful colors, singing the hymns of nature and reflecting oneself in that calming water! Nature paints herself, reflects her true colors; all we need is inner self~ to admire her and to embrace her!!

It's a beautiful state park, this summer the water hadn't been shut down but prior years the water had to be shut down due to bacteria. We camp here every year and enjoy it, this year there were bear seen around the park. The hosts this year were engaged with the campers and set up games and...
