Beth Schmidt Park — Attraction in Elon

Very beautiful well maintained park to take the kids or go with your spouse to have a picnic with a very big playground for all teens. Smaller playset for small children. Sandbox for the smallest of kids. Swingset as well. Walking trail and clean bathrooms. Vending machines. Very convenient location. Plenty of seating to sit while the kids have fun. Beautiful fountain and gorgeous gardens. Well layed out parking. Easy to get in and out of. Very safe place to bring the kids. The whole playground is filled with rubber mulch (Made from recycled tires) so the ground is fall safe in case your child takes a tumble. I definitely recommend this park and it's definitely an asset...

Nice park for children. The playground is big with a shaded sitting area for parents with 2 misting fans. There is a large picnic shelter and a storybook nature walk that the County Library sponsors. You walk the trail and read the storybook along the way. The park offers programming with activities like movies in the park and crafts on certain dates. Parking can be limited near the playground but additional spaces are available a short distance away. The library also has a Mobile Café van that stops there every other Monday afternoon around 3-7pm with free wifi...

This is one of my favorite parks! There is a play area for toddlers and another for older children. There is also a large sandbox and swings! There is a community room that is available for rent right next to the play area. There are also bathrooms and water fountains. This playground can get busy though, especially when the weather is nice!
