GROUND ZERO TACTICAL LASER TAG & VIRTUAL REALITY — Attraction in Elon

Staff were nice, but I’m only putting down two stars due to my personal opinion.

I had no problems up until the Armory. The AI voice is hard to understand at times and hard to hear over the music that plays in the instructional video.

Parts of instructions were not told in the video. Such as the pickups which took me 4 rounds to realize what they were.

Killstreaks were extremely unfun to play with. I understand the idea and I think it’s great on paper. But in practice when a guy has gotten 10 kills and now I’m dead out of nowhere due to an AC-130 it is a little annoying.

Gameplay was fun at the start. However I’m unsure if hit registration was shotty or if I just had a general skill issue, but I’m pretty certain I got less than 10 kills through my whole hour of games. However I would be at point blank shooting a guy in the head and he just turns around and instantly kills me.

One major gripe I have is the unfairness of it. A staff member was apart of the game and had a Taser, this taser made it so as soon as I was shot I couldn’t shoot back. And it would result in me dying a LOT.

Overall, I don’t think it’s a bad place, as every other review I see is extremely positive. But I certainly did not have an amazing first time. Thought the SQUAD logo was pretty...

Such a fun and exciting time for everyone in your group! We had a work party here and it was the best! They have everything you could want, laser tag, VR, rage room, arcade games, even a pool table. The laser tag was the best, the equipment was very advance with different weapons, and abilities. They played multiple game modes; including one where someone was the juggernaut. We had access to their party room where we had time to sit and eat, they even sell beer. I heard they do late night sessions for 18+ players. I’m definitely looking forward to checking that out. Being in NC it was definitely the most exciting thing to do in the area. If you are in the area I highly suggest checking it out and trying everything. I look forward to coming back soon. We celebrated my son's 13th birthday here at Ground Zero. This was perfect for this age group. The facility is big enough for the kids to spread out and hang out without, but also small enough where you can keep an eye on everyone. We did the COD laser tag and virtual reality, plus the VIP room. I am so glad i opted to have the VIP room the entire time bc we were able to move all pizza and snacks to that area for the kids to enjoy throughout the activities. I would suggest bringing a cooler full of mini waters and gatorades bc you will need them with all the activities going on. The VIP toom was also perfect for the adults to hang out while the kids ran around. One thing that stood out partocularly is the owner asked our party several times if we were good and made sure everyone was having fun! The adult beverages were delish as well.
