Disappointed doesn’t even cover it after giving WAY more than the benefit of the doubt. Waited a month for my appointment with Dr. Rothman on 6/30, and was prescribed something (was never even told what it was) and told to come back for a follow up appointment in 2 weeks to see how it was working. Drove to my pharmacy directly after to pick it up, it wasn’t there, I called the office a couple times and no answer. I chalked it up to them maybe closing early for the 4th of July weekend. Called them after the holiday weekend, no answer of course, and left a message with Sabrina (?), Dr. Rothman’s assistant. She did not return my call. Having nothing to show for anything at a “follow up” appointment, I missed it. My pharmacy still didn’t have my prescription. I called this past Tuesday to see if it would ever be sent. Sabrina would be out of the office for the next couple of days, and leaving a message having been proven futile, I spoke with a receptionist and was SHOCKED to even be connected. She said Dr. Rothman would send it by the end of the day, and if not, then the next day, Wednesday. It’s Thursday and I haven’t received what I estimate to be even a thought on their part. I feel like I’ve been whispered sweet nothings and ghosted lol. Useless describes this office and I would say incompetent, but that’s to be proven - I wouldn’t know since I never had the chance to actually be treated.

Read moreThe care I received from the practitioners was excellent, but the billing experience has been extremely frustrating and feels misleading. I was sent a bill 2–3 months after my visit, with no prior notice or explanation. When I requested an itemized receipt, I found that the amount I had already paid was adjusted—part of the payment from a previous visit was subtracted without any communication at the time.
They also billed me $330 for a follow-up appointment that lasted less than 3 minutes. Most of the cost had already been covered by my insurance, yet they are asking me to pay the remaining balance. I’ve contacted the billing department more than five times, but still haven’t received a clear explanation for this charge. While they do reach out occasionally, I never get real answers. Every time I call, the representative doesn’t know the details and simply says they need to investigate further. Instead of resolving the issue, they continue to send emails or text messages with the same bill, ignoring the questions I’ve asked repeatedly.

The ladies at the front desk were wonderful and incredibly professional, getting signed in and ready for my appointment was a breeze and I couldn’t have asked for a better welcome. It’s like I am family the way they greet me every time I walk in. There are few places like this where you get such amazing care. Maria, the office manager is great, what a doll! She’s always asking how my family is and treats me like I’m her own. As far as Dr. Scherl, she’s brilliant. Right away she could tell I was in pain and needed help. She was polite, professional and incredibly thorough through my exam explaining everything to me that was going on and it assured me I was in great hands. My treatment is going great and it’s a pleasure to walk into that office every appointment and know I’ll be well taken care of. Truly the best around.
