Love it and the parking is free the florida way unlike Englewood Beach where they charge you or you get a ticket. Also if ulike to fishthey got good spots Bayside or fish right on the beach both are awesome. Way prettier sunsets too

Notice!!! The road is completely destroyed! The hurricane did a nasty number on it and on some of the houses. If you have come for shells and for shark teeth, you’ve come to the right place though, and solitude abounds!

We did have to walk a good way along the washed out road for a bit of space, but the beach is still as beautiful as ever. When the other beaches rebuild and open up they won't be as crowded.

We did have to walk a good way along the washed out road for a bit of space, but the beach is still as beautiful as ever. When the other beaches rebuild and open up they won't be as crowded.

Nice beach. Not sure why the playground is so far from the beach and kinda hidden in the back of the parking lot. They have a little boardwalk going through some of the mangroves. There is a kayak launch hidden in the back of the parking lot at the fork go right and if you go left...

Great place to collect shark teeth. The sand is not powder like in Sarasota or Siesta Key. The water drops off in areas too so not my idea of kid friendly or a fun swimming area (boats anchor pretty close as well).

I love Middle Beach! Problem is so does everyone else! Lol The road to go to Middle Beach got washed away by the hurricanes, but they have opened up the south end so you can get to it from Englewood. It also seems like they expanded it width wise so there’s more...
